access odbc system dsn remotely

"We will set up a System DSN so that even when no-one is logged on we could still use this DSN remotely (if we wanted)" Could anyone detail this a bit? How do I connect from a remote machine to a system dsn (to a .mdb database file to be more precise, via odbc) from, say, asp with ado?
